For more than 11 years he led the communications efforts of the Beaufort County (SC) School District during a period of unparalleled expansion and challenge, including major finance campaigns and crisis communications. In this time, and under his direction, more than $326 million in school bonds gained public support at the polls, helping build a better future for the county. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Minnesota. He is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America since 2002.
